Keep cats from peeing on furniture
Also putting a litter box right next to it. My cat did have a UTI but I think had it in her to pee on stuff as a habit at that point. I would suggest slowly getting them to be comfortable with each other. A swill round with hot water once a week for an indoor cat is enough. He is the third cat of two. Will fixing him help?

I do not want to take my cat to a shelter but I am out of options. I always like hearing positive feedback. Did you use a specific mouthwash? How do I stop my cats peeing on my worktops? It took me quite a while to figure out where the stench was coming from.
